I did my undergraduate degree at university for 4 years then I went and did my PhD for 3.5 years. Since then I spent 4 years working as a medicinal chemist for the drug discovery unit and here I am today as a medicinal chemistry trainer

I spent 5 years doing my undergraduate MChem degree, including a year working for a drug discovery company. Then I spent a further 4 years studying and researching for my PhD (doctor of philosophy), which involved making new chemical tools for studying cell signalling pathways, then writing a thesis (like a book about my research) at the end of it.

I did undergraduate chemistry for 4 years, then spent 3 years on my PhD followed by 18 months as a research fellow before starting my first academic job at the University of East Anglia in Norwich.

I did an undergraduate degree in Chemistry with industrial experience at Edinburgh for 5 years, then I did a 4 year PhD in Cambridge. That allowed me to start a job in research, which eventually led to becoming a university lecturer.
