I always knew when I was little that I had wanted to do something in science, I just didn’t know what. I liked the problem solving of science and how you could always learn something new. After all science is forever changing. I had wanted to be a marine biologist. Now ask me what I have a fear of?! Yes the sea!!! So safe to say I never pursued this. However after time and patience, I found out what door of science I wanted to knock on – drug discovery. New medicines for new diseases and now with my new job role, I know teach and train people about drug discovery from countries around the world.
