Going to library frequently, spending lots of time reading and reciting textbooks was my way for revising while examinations were approching. I guess this way is fit for most other students as well. However, the detailed methodology for different subjects can be various. For example, when revising organic chemistry courses, I would draw all important molecule structures on paper and sort them out to make sure items in every catalogue have the similar structure. Its a simple and efficient way for easy remembering. Additionally, revising with someone who is good at devising a managable revision plan also sounds good!
