I actually can’t thing of any… Ok… there were things like having to pass exams and get various degrees. But when I view problems as challenges to be met and overcome. Don’t let problems get in your way!
This is a good question @Emma. I think all of us had to overcome exam pressure and the pressure of applying to get to university (and later of applying for jobs too) – but it’s about what you make of it.
A lot of people in science feel they suffer from imposter syndrome, where they don’t feel they should be where they are (despite knowing that they got there, because they are good at what they do!), but the key is to always think positively and believe in yourself and your abilities. Never doubt yourself.
