• Question: Is there anything about your career which you regret?

      As I am in the early stage of my career there is nothing that I truly regret at the moment but I am sure that I will face some challenges along the way!

      At the moment I would have to say no. I had a plan 8 or so years ago and I have got to where I want to be. So at the moment i’m happy!

    I wasn’t as mobile as I should have been, as I stayed at the same university to do my PhD (and then by chance got offered a job there a year later too). If I was to go back again I’d try and move around more, as this is a good thing to do in Science generally, but honestly I don’t see this as a major regret, as I’m very happy with the way things have gone in my career.

    I would say no just now, but I am only 4 years out of my PhD 🙂
